STEP 1 – BOND DETOXING MIST

  1. As a colourist, what are the benefits to you of using Bond Detox prior to colour applications?

“The client can see at the beginning of the colour service, we are being conscious of their hair health, by detoxing the hair to ensure it is in the best condition for the next step of colour.”

  1. How did you apply it to the hair?

“I took layered sections with my hands and misted evenly through each layer. What I noticed is that the hair isn’t wet, it just feels hydrated.”

  1. Was the detox application compatible with the in-salon colour service timing?

“Yes, it was. It adds very little additional time. It basically becomes part of the colour application.”

STEP 2 – BOND RESTORING MASK

  1. How did you apply the mask to your clients?

The mask was applied at the basin. I applied it on my hands and massaged into the hair. You could feel it absorb into the hair immediately. It’s very concentrated, so managing the amount is important. The consistency is smooth to work with and very easy to apply. Leave on for 3-5 minutes, which is no additional time as I am mixing the next step in my colour work while the mask is processing.”

  1. As a professional colourist, how reassuring is it to be protecting and rebuilding the hydrogen, ionic and disulfide bonds throughout the colour service?

“It’s very important to my clients and to me as a salon owner that my client walks out knowing that we have looked after their hair the best way possible.”

  1. What benefits did you find using the mask pre-toning?

“It felt like it acts as a porosity equaliser, as the treatment itself absorbed nicely into the hair in 3-5 minutes. Because the hair seemed more even in porosity, I felt that the toner did not take as long to process and the end colour result was even.”

  1. What key benefits and features did you experience using the mask?

“It felt silky, soft, easy to apply and the hair felt hydrated. I feel like it does act like a porosity equaliser and the hair is more manageable and easier to comb at the basin.”

STEP 3 – BOND REGENERATING CREAM

  1. How easy was the Bond Regenerating Cream to apply?

“It was extremely easy. I towel dried the hair to remove excess water. Starting at the mid-lengths and ends, I massaged into the hair, with the residue applied through the roots.”

“The Bond Regenerating Cream absorbs quickly and effectively into the hair. With drier, coarser hair, I was generous with the amount of product, but more reserved with finer hair, even though it is so light, it doesn’t weigh the hair down.”

  1. Did you notice a difference to the hair after application?

“The hair was so much easier to comb through. The detangling and slip from the product help me to do my stretch blow dries easier and quicker. It’s creamy, amazing in all texture hair and leaves the hair with a beautiful shine.”

“The Bond Regenerating Cream is a great stand-alone product on its own in salon. It’s the ideal blow waving lotion and can be used under any styling product without weighing the hair down.”

BOND RESTORE SYSTEM PRO – 3 TRANSFORMATIVE STEPS

  1. Would you recommend muk Treat + Bond Restore System Pro for all salon colour clients?

“Yes, I would – the system is a positive addition to our service menu. It fills a gap for our staff and clients, and being a muk salon, it’s a no brainer to use and recommend this service to all our clients having colour and coming in for a cut and blow wave.”

  1. What is your overall comment on the new 3 Step system as an in-salon service?

“muk Treat plus + Bond Restore System Pro fills a gap in the muk portfolio. It’s a great addition to the colour service in our business. It’s simple, easy to use and integrates into our colour services seamlessly, leaving the hair feeling amazing which is what we want as hairdressers and what our clients want when they leave our salon.”
